Program Structure
Guitar lessons are structured through the RCM curriculum to provide a comprehensive education in both performance and music theory. The curriculum is tailored to meet the needs and goals of each student, ensuring a personalized learning experience. Here’s what you can expect:
Beginner Level: RCM Levels - Prep to 2
- Introduction to the instrument and basic techniques.
- Simple melodies, scales, and picking patterns (Arpeggio Patterns).
- Basic music theory and reading notation.
Intermediate Level: RCM Levels - 3 to 5
- More complex techniques.
- Students will learn repertoire from various musical periods.
- Enhanced music theory and aural skills.
