Opportunities
At Guitar Jules, we highly recommend our students partake in various performance opportunities that we offer. Apart from your RCM studies and performing for an examiner, you can participate in events like the Airdrie Rotary Festival for Performing Arts and other performances and recitals organized by Guitar Jules in the community.
Airdrie Rotary Festival for Performing Arts
The Airdrie Rotary Festival is put on every year and allows students to showcase their hard work in front of the community, parents, other students, and an adjudicator. Students who participate in the Rotary Festival have the chance to win awards, scholarships, perform at the final showcase concert, and move forward to provincial music competitions.
In past years, Julia's students have won awards and scholarships through the Airdrie Rotary Festival of Performing Arts. We hope to grow the guitar representation at the festival and the knowledge of classical guitar within the community of Airdrie and surrounding areas.
